I went at the wrong time, not because of the crowd but because of the rude kids at this store. As I turned the corner of an isle a group of teens and I met. Now I’m sure this has happened to you but let me tell you what happen to me.

I stopped and said excuse me, step to my left. One male told me to go do something to myself. Well, needless to say I was taken back with the language these kids were using especially at me. I’m not that old (or at least I don’t feel that old). Back when my parents found out I treated my “elders” with disrespect I got my butt tore up. What has happened to the kids that will one day take care of us as we pass the retirement age?

I think it is time for parents (if there are still any) to get busy with parenting their children. Get off your lazy butts and take reasonability for your own kids. Now I’m sure the parents and kids that read this are mostly good people. The problem is the ones I’m speaking of won’t or don’t read comments like this.

By the way the teens I spoke of meeting head to head in the store, they did not know who I was but I knew them just as soon as I saw them with their parents. As I moved through the store I saw them standing in the check out line. I had not finished picking up my few items but I made it a point to get in line behind them. The teens saw me and tried to get out of line. It was too late. I called the mother and father by their first name. I just happened to look in their direction and their eyes were as big as beach balls. The parents and I started talking about the day. I brought up the chance meeting with the teen’s just minutes ago. And of course I brought up the language that was used during the head to head meeting. Lets just say the teens were in for a fun ride home because I know these parents and the teens will have a hard time sitting down. For once in a long time getting even felt so good. So kids be careful of what you say or who you miss treat. If it is me I most likely know your parents.mybitteropinionhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17810373450753959173noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7962495421509923707.post-65518726066085412132008-04-21T08:41:00.001-04:002008-04-21T08:41:52.243-04:00elect me. I promise you the world!I promise you I will do whatever sounds too good to be true if you elect me to office.

How many times have you heard that before? I’m sick and tired of someone running for elected office and saying what they think will get them elected and when it comes time to enter office and do what they promised, they blame the “other party” for blocking their plans.

During this election year I have heard how the incumbent has stepped up and sent bills through or how they are trying to help those of us that need help. Who are they kidding? If they had done their job, would this country be in the shape we are now? Can the opponent really do any better?

Don’t kid yourself about this or any election. I say get out there and vote but understand you are voting for the best of the worst. You really want change? It starts with you. By the way, if you want to complain about a politician and you don’t vote, I don’t want to hear you.mybitteropinionhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17810373450753959173noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7962495421509923707.post-62501367398828087092008-04-16T11:48:00.000-04:002008-04-16T11:51:40.451-04:00Making a left turn, no problem?Making a left turn, no problem? Not until you are making a left turn from the left travel lane. The other day I found myself heading down Forrest Hills road heading toward cavalier soccer fields. I just crossed over Raleigh Road Parkway when a person wanted to make a left turn into the entrance between McDonald and the gas station. With no turn signal and a long line of cars behind me and cars waiting to make their own legal left turn into the shopping center both cars just sat there waiting for someone to make a move. Well, guess what, the person making the turn into the McDonald side you did not have a leg or in this cause a brake to stand on. There is NO left turn lane for you! You were making a left turn out of a travel lane. Needless to say you had traffic backed up into the intersection of Raleigh Road. The people wanting to make a left turn onto Raleigh Road to head toward town had to wait for those of us to try to get into our right lane and get around you to clear the intersection. So next time you want to make the left turn from a travel lane just remember use your turn signal make sure no traffic is around and don’t do it in front of me! Better yet go back to driver’s ed and learn how to make a real left turn before you and your car end up at the body shop because you did something stupid.mybitteropinionhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17810373450753959173noreply@blogger.com
